Alan Baldwin – 1947 – 2020

It is with huge regret that we have to report the loss of our beloved Alan. Alan joined the players in 2004, and first trod the boards with us in 2005 in our pantomime Dick Whittington. He has been a huge part of our group since then appearing in over 25 productions, and more recently as part of our committee, taking on the role of Acting Chairman as well. Alan will always be remembered fondly by cast and audiences alike. He was a great champion of the youth of the group and was always there to help out and support the youngsters at our Summer Schools. When not appearing on stage, he would also organise social events, and publicity, and was as equally enthusiastic in the audience as on the stage. Those of us who shared a dressing room with Alan will all testify to the fact that he was as entertaining backstage as he was on it, and will shall miss all the laughter he brought us.

Alan appeared in the following productions;

Dick Whittington 2005
Overtime 2005
Comic Potential 2005
My Fair Lady 2006
Last Tango in Little Grimley 2006
